RegisterMySite Policies

Last updated: Oct 17, 2026 · Effective: Oct, 17, 2026

Note: this page is a working draft pending legal review. Highlighted [brackets] are details still to be confirmed by our legal team.

These policies explain how RegisterMySite handles your information, payments, domains, support, and the rules for using our services. They work together with our Terms and Conditions.

Privacy Policy

This explains what information RegisterMySite collects, why, and what we do with it. In short: we collect what we need to run your account and services, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and login details when you sign up at account.registermysite.com.
  • Billing information: your plan, invoices, and payment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We don't store your full card number. Stripe processes it under its own privacy policy.
  • Crypto payment information: if you pay with crypto, we keep the transaction details (such as amount, currency, and transaction ID) needed to confirm and record your payment.
  • Content you create: websites, files, emails, form settings, chatbot settings, and other content you upload or build with our tools.
  • Information your visitors submit: when visitors use forms, chatbots, or messaging on your site, we process what they send on your behalf so it can reach you.
  • Support information: messages and attachments you send to our help desk, by email, or by phone.
  • Usage and device information: basic technical data like IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, which help us keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

  • To create and run your account, and to provide hosting, domains, email, and other tools.
  • To bill you and keep payment records.
  • To answer support requests and send important service messages (like billing notices or security alerts).
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
  • To understand how the service is used so we can improve it.
  • To meet legal obligations.

Service providers we use

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Cloudflare for hosting, domain registration (through Cloudflare Registrar), DNS, and related infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare email sending, together with our custom dashboard, to deliver business email and service messages.
  • Cloudflare Workers AI to power chatbot features. Our chatbots are built on Cloudflare's llm-chat-app-template.
  • Analytics are custom and in-house, running within Cloudflare's ecosystem. We don't use outside analytics services.
  • Advertising partners, such as Google AdSense, which may show ads on our website and in free-plan dashboards. See Advertising below.

These providers only get the information they need to do their job for us.

Cookies and analytics

  • Session cookies keep you signed in and keep your account secure. The service won't work properly without them.
  • Preference cookies may remember settings you choose.
  • Analytics: yes, we use analytics. Our in-house analytics help us see how our site and dashboard are used, such as which pages are visited. They rely on the session cookies described above.
  • Advertising cookies are set by our advertising partners only if you allow them in our cookie notice. They're used to show ads and measure how those ads perform.

When you first visit, our cookie notice lets you accept or reject advertising cookies. Session cookies are always on because the service needs them. You can change your choice any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features (like staying signed in) may stop working.

Advertising

To keep our Free plan free, we may show ads on our website and in the dashboards of Free plan accounts. Paid plans (DIY, Starter, Growth and Pro) don't show ads in the dashboard.

  • Who shows the ads. Ads are served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. We list the networks we allow in our ads.txt file.
  • What they collect. Ad networks may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and your IP address to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure results. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
  • Personalized ads. If you accept advertising cookies, ads may be personalized to your interests. If you reject them, you may still see ads, but they won't be based on your browsing.
  • What we don't share. We don't give ad networks your name, email address, payment details, domain contact information, or the content of your emails or sites.
  • Opting out. You can change your choice in Cookie settings, turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings, or opt out of many ad networks at aboutads.info.
  • Children. We don't knowingly serve personalized ads to anyone under 18.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set. [Cookie consent laws only apply to those who live in Europe, UK and Australia.]

Sharing

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers and advertising partners above (advertising partners only receive the cookie and device information described in Advertising), when you ask us to, or when the law requires it (for example, a valid legal request) or to protect the safety and security of our customers and service.

How long we keep it

We keep information while your account is active. After you cancel, we keep it no longer than 1 year after cancellation or April 17, 2027, whichever comes first. Billing and legal records may be kept longer if the law requires it. [We keep records only until the following years tax deadline.]

Your choices and data requests

You can see and update most account information in your dashboard. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, email Email info@registermysite.com . Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional privacy rights. [We do not collect any sensitive information that can be used to steal someones identity. Only what is required to make the website functional.]

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and you must be at least 18 to hold an account.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Monthly subscriptions

  • Plans (DIY, Starter, Growth, Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically.
  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard at account.registermysite.com or by contacting us.
  • Prorated refunds: when you cancel, we refund the unused days left in your current billing period, prorated.
  • Cancelling in the first 60 days: if you cancel within the first 60 days, the regular price of any free domain(s) registered for you is deducted from your refund. The domain(s) stay registered for the term purchased.
  • Payment processing fees aren't refunded.

Downgrades

  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current paid period.
  • You keep any domains already registered.
  • Unclaimed domain allowances from your previous plan are dropped, and downgrading never grants new domain credits.

Custom website builds

Custom builds and setup projects follow their own signed agreement. Our standard terms: if you're unsatisfied, you can request a refund within 90 days of the deposit payment. You'll get a full refund of amounts paid, minus payment processing fees. After 90 days, no refund is available. A refund doesn't cancel a registered domain (see Domain Policy).

Processing fees

When a card payment is refunded, Stripe doesn't return its processing fee, so refunds are made minus that fee.

Crypto payments

Crypto refunds, when approved, are paid in the USD value at the time of the original payment, minus any network or processing fees.

How to request a refund or cancel

Email Email info@registermysite.com or call (562) 751-4597.

Domain Policy

We want you to know exactly how your domain works with us, so here's the full picture.

We're not a domain registrar

RegisterMySite is not a domain registrar and is not ICANN-accredited. We act as a reseller/proxy: we register and manage domains for our customers through Cloudflare Registrar, using RegisterMySite's Cloudflare account.

That means your domain is registered to RegisterMySite's account, not in your name, until you ask us to transfer it out to you.

How it works, step by step

  1. You choose. You pick a domain, or claim your free domain, in your dashboard at account.registermysite.com.
  2. We register it. We check live price and availability, then register the domain through Cloudflare Registrar on our account.
  3. Cloudflare is the registrar of record. DNS runs on Cloudflare nameservers that we manage for you.
  4. Public lookups. WHOIS/RDAP lookups show Cloudflare as the registrar, with registrant details redacted or privacy-protected. [Registrant details are redacted by default.]
  5. You're in control day to day. You manage your site, DNS records, and email through your dashboard.
  6. Renewals. We renew your domain at the regular price for its extension, and we remind you 2 weeks before it expires. If a domain isn't renewed, it may expire and could become available for someone else to register.
  7. Transfer out. When you ask, we unlock the domain and give you the authorization (EPP) code so you can move it to any registrar you choose, in your own name. You can also ask us to point the domain to different nameservers.

Transfer lock: 90 days

  • ICANN rules and Cloudflare place a 60-day lock on a domain after it's registered or transferred.
  • RegisterMySite holds a 90-day lock after registration (and after certain changes) before a transfer out. We hold it longer to protect against payment chargebacks.
  • To be clear: during the lock period, the domain can't be moved to another registrar. You can still use it normally, and nameserver changes can be requested.

Free domain credits

  • Paid plans include free domain credits: DIY 1, Starter 2, Growth 3, Pro 5.
  • Credits become available after your first paid invoice. Each one is a one-time credit and expires 60 days after it becomes available if you don't claim it.
  • Credits apply to non-premium domains on our curated list of trusted extensions, such as .com, .net, .org, .us, and .ca. Premium domains aren't eligible.
  • A free credit covers the first year only. After that, the domain renews at the regular price.
  • Credits have no cash value and can't be exchanged or transferred.
  • Downgrading keeps your registered domains, drops unclaimed allowances, and never grants new credits.

Refunds don't cancel domains

A refund doesn't cancel a registered domain. It stays registered for the term purchased (typically 1 year). If you cancel within the first 60 days, the regular price of any free domain(s) registered is deducted from your refund (see Refund & Cancellation).

Domain FAQ

Who owns my domain?
You have the right to use your domain and to transfer it out into your own name after the lock period. Until you do, it's held on RegisterMySite's Cloudflare account on your behalf, and Cloudflare is the registrar of record.

How do I get it in my own name?
Once the 90-day lock has passed, email Email info@registermysite.com or call (562) 751-4597 and ask for a transfer out. We'll unlock the domain and send you the authorization (EPP) code. Then you start the transfer at the registrar you choose, using your own name and contact details. Transfers usually take a few days to finish, and the new registrar may charge a transfer fee (which often includes a year of renewal).

Acceptable Use Policy

To keep RegisterMySite safe and reliable for everyone, you agree not to use our services, including websites, hosting, email, forms, links/QR codes, chatbots, and messaging, to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
  • Run phishing, scams, fraud, or impersonation.
  • Host or spread malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Publish illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others, or promote violence or hate.
  • Misuse forms, chatbots, or messaging, for example to collect data deceptively, flood people with messages, or get around our limits.
  • Attack, overload, probe, or interfere with our systems or anyone else's.
  • Resell or share accounts in ways your plan doesn't allow.

What we may do

If we believe an account is breaking this policy or the law, we may remove content, limit features, suspend, or terminate the account, with or without notice depending on how serious it is. We may also report illegal activity to the authorities.

To report abuse, email Email info@registermysite.com .

Email Sending Policy

Business email and any email sending through RegisterMySite must follow anti-spam laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. If you send marketing or commercial email, you must:

  • Only email people who have agreed to hear from you, or who have an existing relationship with you.

There are no sending limits on the DIY, Starter, Growth, or Pro plans. Sending limits apply only to the free plan.

We may still pause or stop sending from any account that's abusing email, has high bounce or complaint rates, or appears to be sending spam. [account suspensions are on a individual account basis]

Security & Account Policy

  • Your part: keep your password private, use a strong unique password, and don't share your login. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
  • Our part: we use HTTPS to encrypt connections to our sites and dashboard, rely on trusted infrastructure providers like Cloudflare and Stripe, and limit access to customer data to what's needed to run the service.
  • No system is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident that affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law.
  • We'll never ask for your password by email or phone.

Changes to These Policies

We may update these policies from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For important changes, we'll give notice by email or in your dashboard at least 1 week (7 days) before they take effect. If you keep using the services after changes take effect, that means you accept the updated policies.
